It was just what I have always wanted, a new pair of sneakers.

When I went with my friend for Christmas shopping in the SM Department Store last December 17, I kept eyeing the shoe section, the sports shoes section to be exact. The place was like heaven, with different kinds, brands, and styles of shoes available and most are on SALE.

Too bad I was just coming with my friend to help her pick out her gift for our barkada’s exchange gift and I didn’t bring enough money, although, I was able to buy a pretty Toeberries slippers. They are

And so, since that day, I kept on exclaiming about how pretty the shoes are on SM and how I want to go back there and buy one.

Last week, while I technically started talking about shoes again, my mom told me she has something for me. And she showed me these nice sneakers which I really loved.

One is a yellow pair of Skechers. It was very comfortable wearing that. I feel like I could run all day long if I wear it.

Who told you Santa would not come? Santa was Mom that day.

Although I now have a new pair of shoes, I still plan to go back to SM and buy those shoes I had my eyes on—when the right time comes. This one is for my New Year’s… err… Semester resolution. I would not buy any new clothes the whole semester because I plan on investing on shoes. Well, what do you think?

It would a good thing to invest on shoes, right?!

I’ll keep you posted. Advance Happy New Year.
