Hold each position for five seconds and repeat four times, then squeeze a medicine ball between your knees for five seconds. Repeat the whole cycle until you feel a pop in your back, which should be the muscle un-tweaking.
Get back on your feet
Sometimes the best way to alleviate back pain is actually through continuing as normal. By using the muscles in your back, you can loosen them up and overcome the problem that way. Taking two days’ worth of painkillers will allow you to do this without suffering in agony. Consult a medical expert and always use the correct dosage of prescribed drugs. If the problem hasn’t gone away within that two-day timeframe, then stop taking the painkillers and instead speak to a doctor. Treat with hot and cold
Heat and Cold therapy is used for everything from arthritis to inflammation to back pain. On the first day, apply an ice pack for five minutes and then take it off for five minutes. Repeat for up to half an hour. On the following day, apply heat to your back for five minutes and then leave it to cool for five.
